Forsyth is located in the middle of Illinois directly north of Decatur. This fast-growing village of bike paths, walk ways, and parks is a great community to call home. Forsyth has several golf courses, including Red Tail Run Golf Course (designed by Raymond Floyd), Scovill Golf Club, Hickory Point Golf Course (a public course with a lighted driving range), and Sun N Fun Swim and Golf Club. Nelson Park Golf Course is a former course built in 1916. Now closed for golfing, it is a great space for picnics, play, and walking.
Hickory Point Mall is a large mall featuring several stores. Forsyth also has great schools and easy access to Decatur’s large hospitals, employers, shopping, and restaurants. This little village is a perfect apartment renting location.
