The boundaries of this community are Bakers Ferry Road Southwest on the north and Boulder Park Drive Southwest on the south. On the west, it extends to Dollar Mill Road Southwest, and on the east it is bounded by Wilson Mill Road Southwest. Wilson Mill Meadows is in the 30331 zip code area. Among the many surrounding communities are Boulder Park, Baker Hills, Fairburn Rd/Wisteria Ln, and Wisteria Gardens.

This neighborhood spans less than half a square mile and has roughly 1,135 residents. Although a few of the homes here date back to pre-1940, most were constructed between 1950 and 1990, with the 70s and 80s seeing the biggest building boom. Wilson Mill Park shares the neighborhood’s eastern boundary line, while Utoy Boulder Park is adjacent to the neighborhood on the southwest. Wilson Mill Park offers playing fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, and playground. The Utoy Boulder Park is mostly undeveloped, but offers some trails. Neighborhood residents also enjoy close proximity to the Adamsville Recreation Center. This popular indoor recreation facility on the other side of I-285 offers sports programs, dance and karate classes, kiddie pools, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The Fulton County Airport – Brown Field is situated roughly a mile to the north of the neighborhood.

Schools near Wilson Mill Meadows include Miles Elementary School on Bakers Ferry Road Southwest, and Adamsville Elementary School on Wilson Mill Road Southwest. Several higher education options are located within 10 miles to the east, near downtown Atlanta. These include Clark Atlanta University and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
