Vinings Heights is a neighborhood which has over 200 homes and was built from the late 1950s to the present. There have been many newer homes built over the years along with lots of renovations. Vinings Heights is conveniently located south of Paces Ferry Road and east of Atlanta Road.
Vinings Heights can be found within the unincorporated town of Vinings, which is situated between Buckhead and Smyrna. Each year, Vinings Historic Preservation Society hosts the wildly popular Vinings Golf Classic. In addition to golfing, there is also different entertainment each year, plus food and libations, which are all included in the price. With each year, the event grows larger and now includes a live and silent auction.
The Vinings Historic Preservation Society was founded in 1993 and intends to preserve the historic spirit and structures of the Vinings area. The Society is an all-volunteer organization that is funded in full by local individuals and businesses.
