Sanders Street borders the community to its east. Toni Street is the northern border of Colony Park, while Langley Avenue is its southern border. Goodrich Drive borders the neighborhood to the west. It also encompasses Bakalane Court.

Colony Park is an ideal neighborhood for the college student. The community is near many major and smaller colleges and universities. In fact, Pensacola State College is within walking distance southeast of the neighborhood. The Academy of Nail Sculpting is a half-mile northeast of Colony Park. Pensacola Junior College is a little over a half mile to its southeast.

Cultural opportunities near the community will also enrich the experience of studying in the area, and they’re ideal for families as well. A famous sculpture museum, Renaissance Man, Inc., is only four miles southwest of Colony Park. The Pensacola Museum of Art, which was created from an old city jail from the turn of the twentieth century, is just over five miles south of the community.

The neighborhood and surrounding areas also possess many historical riches. The Pensacola Historical Museum is south of the community. Old Christ Church, a historical Pensacola landmark, is five and half miles south of Colony Park and so is the T.T. Wentworth Museum, which has a hands-on area for children, with ships scaled to their size.
