Before 1850, the area of Palm Bay, Florida was a vast swampland inhabited by Timucuan Indians. European settlers discovered the area, but growth was slow due to the harsh conditions. But by the mid-1900s a small farming community had developed.

In 1959, Port Malabar — a large residential neighborhood — was developed by the General Development Corporation. With the tourism and technology that soon followed, Palm Bay blossomed into a thriving city. Today, it is home to large corporations such as Harris, Intersil, and DRS Technologies.

Palm Bay’s average temperature of 72 degrees makes it a great place to be year-round. Located on the east coast of Florida about an hour southeast of Orlando and an hour south of Daytona Beach, Palm Bay is a beachfront city with a laid-back lifestyle. Golfing, boating, fishing, swimming, surfing — enjoy your favorite outdoor sport in this beautiful section of the Sunshine State.
