Wrapped by the San Bernardino Mountains, the city of Yucaipa, California is a fairly new city, incorporated in 1989. Since then, it has grown into a popular destination. It is conveniently located, just 17 miles southeast of San Bernardino and 75 miles east of Los Angeles.

Yucaipa’s amazing park system makes it ideal for anyone who enjoys outdoor recreation. Yucaipa Regional Park is comprised of 200 acres and three lakes. It is a great park for swimming, boating, fishing, and camping. Yucaipa’s 14 parks include an equestrian arena, a pool, and more. There’s also the nearby Norton Younglove Reserve and the newest park, Wildwood Canyon State Park, was created to preserve two historic ranches.

Play golf in the shelter of the mountains at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club, an 18-hole, par-72 public golf course. Or visit the Yucaipa Adobe, a California historical landmark built in 1842.

Shopping, restaurants, museums, and Crafton Hills College are all located in Yucaipa, making this young city a great choice in the Inland Empire.
