Santa Anita Park is not to be confused with the horse-racing track located in the northern part of Los Angeles county. Rather, this Santa Anita Park neighborhood is in the city of Santa Ana, which is one of the many communities in Orange County. The “OC” borders Los Angeles County and includes a significant portion of what is considered to be Southern California. Orange County has a number of cities and communities, and residents can find a wide variety of living situations ranging from rentals to large houses.

There are a number of bus and rail systems in Southern California, but most people travel by car on the maze of freeways. Santa Anita Park is very close to the 22, 57 and Interstate 5 freeways. These freeways can take travelers to different locations throughout Southern California and beyond. Travelers are also relatively close to the John Wayne Airport.
