In the 1770s, explorers crossed into California by way of the Anza Trail. This trail, one of the first routes to California, crossed through the San Jacinto Valley. San Jacinto, founded in 1870, is one of the oldest communities in California.

With stunning views of the weather-sculpted San Jacinto Mountains — the second highest mountain range in Southern California — San Jacinto is a beautiful, rural city that takes great pride in its parks — all 32 of them.

Mount San Jacinto State Park defines outdoor adventure. Whether it is hiking, nature trails, mountain climbing, horseback riding, or camping, this park offers endless opportunities.

Soboba Springs Country Club, owned by the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians, features a public 18-hole golf course against a beautiful backdrop of mountains, waterfalls, and streams. The Soboba Indian Reservation is home to the Soboba Casino, a 74,000-square-foot casino with two restaurants, a sushi bar, and a sports bar.

The Estudillo Mansion, built in 1884, is one of only three sites in Riverside County on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the site of community events, the San Jacinto Museum, and the Water Conservation Garden.

Located an hour north of San Diego and 30 miles south of San Bernardino, San Jacinto is an Inland Empire city with something for everyone.
