Central Sacramento Neighborhood

Central Sacramento, Sacramento, California is a densely populated urban neighborhood sandwiched between the neighborhoods of Downtown Sacramento and East Sacramento. The neighborhood’s borders include the American River Parkway, 21st Street and T Street.

Central Sacramento is a well-established, tree-lined neighborhood with a mix of Victorians, older homes, apartments, duplexes, townhomes, condos and upscale lofts. The average resident is mid-thirty and single. As the hub of Sacramento’s cultural scene, the neighborhood has art, music, plays, movies, bars, clubs, restaurants and boutiques for its residents and tourists.

The neighborhood is pedestrian and bicycle friendly. Bike lanes throughout Central Sacramento allow a commute into Downtown Sacramento and access to the bicycle paths of the American River Parkway.
