For outdoor enthusiasts, Tortolita Mountain Park is located a few minutes west of Twin Lakes. One of the more secluded parks in the Tucson area, Tortolita features rugged trails and rough terrain. The park is best suited for those with more experienced hiking experience, as trails lead through many valleys and gullies. Several other county and state parks are located within an hour’s drive of Twin Lakes.
