Sunnyvale Apartments for Rent

Sunnyvale is off North Thornydale Road and West Hardy Road. Both streets have bike routes and there is a bus route on North Thornydale Road. The neighborhood is in the suburb of Casa Adobes and lies in Pima County.

Within walking distance is Arthur Pack Regional Park. The 513-acre park has ten baseball fields, batting cages, a basketball court, and hiking and walking trails. There is a playground for children, four ramadas with tables and grills, and a snack shack. Inside the park is the 18-hole Crooked Tree Golf Course. The course was named “Best Place to Play” by Golf Digest in 2006, 2007, and 2008. Crooked Tree has a fully stocked golf shop, and there is a bar and grill in the clubhouse. The banquet room is available for special events, such as wedding receptions and parties.

St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church is a few minutes from Sunnyvale. The church offers daily Mass as well as programs for adults and children. The church also runs a parochial school for K-grade 12.

Nearby schools include Ironwood Elementary School, Tortilita Middle School, and Mountain View High School. All are just a few minutes from Sunnyvale.

Four minutes from Sunnyvale on North Thornydale and West Linda Vista Boulevard is a Safeway Shopping Center. Residents will also find a McDonald’s Restaurant and a Blockbuster Video Store. The center is a convenient place for residents to shop. Three blocks south on North Thornydale Road is a Walgreen’s Pharmacy.

The quiet residential streets of Sunnyvale are side-walked and with seven cul-de-sacs, residents have plenty of places to walk dogs or ride bikes. Sunnyvale is about thirty minutes from downtown Tucson and about ten minutes from Interstate 10.
