Located just south of the Mobile Regional Airport, Warwick is a small, primarily residential neighborhood in the 36695 zip code. It is sparsely populated. With an area of 1.180 square miles, its population is just under 600.
Most of the homes in Warwick are single-family detached units of varying styles, such as Mediterranean and ranch-style houses.
County Road 56 borders the community to its far north, and Cottage Hill Road is its southern border. County Road 25 is its western border, and Dewes Road/County Road 33 is its eastern border.
It’s a very family-friendly neighborhood. It offers several well-regarded public and private schools within easy walking or driving distance. Bernice J. Causey Middle School, which is noted for the scholastic achievements of its students, is a half-mile to its south. Baker High School is just over a mile to its north, while Montessori World Preschool & Kindergarten and O’Rourke Elementary School are just over a mile to its east.
West Mobile County Park is a mile and a half east of the neighborhood. Spring Hill Memorial Garden, which welcomes respectful walkers, is two miles to its northwest. Cottage Hill Park, a popular park that attracts visitors from all over Mobile, is four miles to its east. It offers a jogging track, tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course, hiking trails, a playground, a multiple-use ball field, and picnic tables.
Several of the more well-to-do residents of Warwick are members of the Highland Country Club, which is four and a half miles northeast of the community. Many are also members of the Country Club of Mobile, which is six miles to its east. It offers a par-71, 18-hole golf course and a luxurious clubhouse.
