This statue and museum is of the Roman god of the forge and was seen as a symbol of the city’s growing industry and at 56-feet-tall, is the largest cast iron statue in the world.
Local restaurants flourish in Five Points South, including local favorite Giuseppe’s Cafe, an Italian and espresso bar. This restaurant is kid-friendly, but also described as “romantic,” for those seeking a date-night spot. Popular bars include Five Points Grill, Dave’s Bar and Highlands Bar and Grill.
