Portland at a Glance
Hollywood Neighborhood
Halfway between Interstate 5 and Interstate 205 lies the Hollywood District of Portland. The Hollywood District has some unique landmarks, including the theater setting for the movie What the Bleep Do We Know? and a well-known German restaurant where the waiter sometimes yodels at the table. This Oregon community sits north of Laurelhurst, on the east side of Portland, and its main thoroughfare is Northeast Sandy Boulevard.
Grant Park is on the east end of Hollywood, near Grant High School.
Hollywood caters to a younger crowd, with many pubs and restaurants opened only recently as the influx of recent college graduates continues. Because of this increase in population, apartments and homes in Hollywood are becoming sought-after residences.
The neighborhood is also a bike-friendly area and contains reputable and knowledgeable dealers for both new and used bikes. Residents are able to pick up local bike path maps at these retailers to use while exploring the area.
The Multnomah County Library has a branch located in Hollywood and another to the south, in the Belmont District. After residents sign up with the Multnomah County Library, they can access books from all branches in the Portland area.
Interstate 84 runs through south Hollywood and continues toward Mount Hood and Eastern Oregon, along the Columbia River. While driving along Interstate 84, travelers enjoy breathtaking views of the Columbia Gorge and taking photos of the scenery. Interstate 84 also leads to the Portland Airport.
Hollywood has its own farmer’s market on Northeast Hancock Street, between 44th and 45th Avenues. It is open on Saturdays when in season.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
