Located west of the Griggs Reservoir in Columbus, Riverplace is right off Dublin Road and east of Interstate 270. The Riverplace community is surrounded by popular landmarks such as the Market at Mill Run Shopping Center; Wesley Chapel Cemetery; Golden Bear Shopping Center; Fancyburg Park; Lane Road Park; Duranceaux Park; and the Ohio State University Golf Course, which has its own lake.
The community takes its name from the fact that it is within just a block or two of the Scioto River. Its beautiful homes are stately and well appointed. The newly constructed community is lined with trees and large lots with carefully-manicured lawns. The homes are two-story models with interesting roof lines and attached two-car garages, vinyl siding in light neutral colors, and partial brick facades. Some of the residences even have partial stone facades.
The community has wide, well-groomed sidewalks that facilitate both pedestrian and pet walking. Its streets are wide and well kept. The neighborhood is free from heavy traffic, which helps Riverplace residents enjoy outdoor recreation.
