The suburban community of Brookshire is located in southwest Columbus, Ohio. The community boundaries are Eakin Road on the north, Clime Road on the south, Demorest Road and South Hague Avenue on the west, and Highway 3 / U.S. 62 on the east. This community offers a retreat from big city life, while still being within easy driving distance of Columbus’s top landmarks, museums, parks, theaters and sporting events.
Nearby schools that students in the area attend include Lindbergh Elementary School, Hilltonia Middle School, and Briggs High School. On the northeast side of Columbus lies one of the largest and most highly rated public universities in the nation, Ohio State University.
Parks in the Brookshire vicinity include Hilltonia Park, Lindberg Park, Westgate Park, Georgian Heights Park, and Big Run Park. Big Run Park offers unique amenities such as a disc golf course and a soap box derby hill, as well as plenty of the usual park amenities such as basketball courts, nature trails, gardens, and playgrounds.
