Boston at a Glance
Downtown Boston Neighborhood
Skyscrapers with towering walls of glass and steel rise up behind historic brick buildings with intricate ironwork and elegant doors in Downtown Boston, bringing history and future together in stark contrast. The Financial District is located in Downtown Boston, with high rise office buildings containing everything from banking headquarters to law firms. Conversely, Downtown Boston contains some of the country’s most historic treasures.
The Freedom Trail, a walking trail along a red brick pathway, begins at Boston Common, the oldest city park in the country. Dating back to 1634, this 50-acre park is known as “America’s First Park.” The Central Burying Ground is located next to Boston Common. This burial ground was established in 1756 and contains the burial sites of British soldiers and famous composers and artists, such as composer William Billings.
Faneuil Hall, one of the stops on the freedom trail, opened in 1742 as an open-air market and meeting space. The meetings that took place involved the Sons of Liberty and talk of revolution, making Faneuil Hall the “Cradle of Liberty.” Other sites in the Downtown area include Kings Chapel, the Burying Ground, and the Old State House.
Boston has amazing nightlife, and some places, such as the Bell-in-Hand Tavern, have been local hotspots since the 1700s. The Bell-in-Hand Tavern was established in 1795 and is the country’s oldest still-operating tavern. From the elegant (such as The Estate) to fun places such as comedy clubs and local bars, Boston has something for every night-owl.
For those who enjoy cheering for the home team, Boston is a sports dynasty. Downtown is home to the Boston Celtics, 17-time World Champion NBA superstars. The Boston Red Sox play in nearby Fenway/Kenmore at the historical Fenway Park. Nearby Boston College is home to the Eagles football team, giving a college football team to root for, as well.
Surround yourself with history, entertainment, amazing opportunities, and one-of-a-kind nightlife by living in Downtown Boston.

Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
