Bayshore Gardens Neighborhood

The Bayshore Gardens neighborhood is part of Tampa, Florida, located on the southwest side of the city. This community is just three miles from the heart of the downtown area, which translates to about a 10-minute drive. This conveniently located community is bounded by the Crosstown Expressway on the west and the bay on the east with Bayshore Boulevard running along the bay just within neighborhood bounds. Its boundaries extend roughly to West Bay to Bay Boulevard on the south and South Howard Avenue on the north.

In total, Bayshore Gardens spans less than a quarter of a square mile. It includes parts of the 33606 and 33629 zip codes and belongs within Hillsborough County.

This is primarily a residential neighborhood, host to many dozen single-family homes on lush, green lots; however, some commercial offerings exist within neighborhood bounds as well, especially along the bay. Palma Ceia Spring Park is also situated within community bounds, offering a walking path, tennis courts, and plenty of green space for picnics or games. The Palma Ciea Playground is located just outside of neighborhood bounds on the west.

Golfers residing in Bayshore Gardens may belong to the Palms Ceia Golf and Country Club, situated just a few minutes to the west. This prestigious private club dates back to 1916 and offers a challenging 18-hole course with greens created from Bermuda grass.

Many shopping, dining, and entertainment options exist within walking distance or a short drive of this community, including popular retailers and restaurants. The downtown area is also just minutes from home, offering several medical centers, museums, and the University of Tampa campus.

Proximity to the bay is a clear draw of this Tampa neighborhood, but there is much more to see and do in and around Bayshore Gardens than meets the eye.
