We live in a cozy and thoughtfully maintained historic row house in Washington, D.C.—a space that friends and family often describe as one of the most beautiful homes they’ve visited. It’s not your average rental; it’s a well loved home, and we’re looking to share it with a respectful individual with good vibes. As a couple in our early 40s, we’ll be traveling frequently between Europe and D.C. from September through March 2026. During this time, we’re offering a spacious, private suite for rent—on its own floor, providing comfort and plenty of privacy. **Master Suite (Second Floor - Black bed frame and jute rug in photos)** This large, sunny master suite has two closets (one walk-in) and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The room also includes a desk, chair, and TV. Large south-facing windows provide plenty of natural light, with both curtains and blinds for privacy. Rent: $1,800/month + 25% of utilities (~ $100-150 /month) **Shared Spaces** Movie & Lounge Room (Second Floor): This cozy space is outfitted with a large TV, a single day bed, a desk, and (we're biased) but the best jungle wall paper. When we’re not in town (most of the lease term), you will have access to this room. When we're in town, we will use it as an office. Study & Balcony (Third Floor): This room features bookshelves and a desk, perfect for work or quiet time. It connects to a top-floor balcony with beautiful views of Crispus Attucks Park. The balcony includes lights, built-in speakers, and is available for use. When we're in town, we will use the spare bed in this room. Kitchen, Dinning Room, and Living Room (First Floor): The kitchen is fully equipped with an island, two ovens, a gas cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of cooking gadgets (air fryer, Instant Pot, blender, etc.). You’ll also find full dishware, flatware, and wine glasses. The kitchen opens up to a sunroom, large living room, and dining room—all tastefully decorated and perfect for relaxing or spending time with others. Backyard: The house has a generous backyard space that backs into Crispus Attucks Park. Parking: There is on-street parking that is generally always available. Pets: Unfortunately, no pets allowed. **Other Details** - Utilities generally run ~$130/mo (include electric, gas, water, compost and high- speed wifi) - One month deposit required - Lease terms: 3 or 6 month lease (with potential option to extend)
