Seattle at a Glance
Green Lakes Neighborhood
Green Lakes is a large neighborhood on the north side of Seattle, Washington, about 10 minutes from the downtown area. It is bounded by North 85th Street on the north, Aurora Avenue North/state Highway 99 on the west, and West Green Lake Way North and North 60th Street on the south. Its eastern boundary is created by Interstate 5, which provides a nearly direct route into downtown Seattle. Part of King County, this neighborhood is in the 98103 zip code.
The entirety of Green Lake and Green Lake Park are situated within neighborhood bounds on the southwest, but the rest of the neighborhood is mostly residential, characterized by single-family homes, apartment living, and townhouse/condominium communities. Craftsman-style homes are situated on quiet, tree-lined streets near the lake in this highly desirable neighborhood. Several commercial offerings can be found scattered throughout the surrounding area as well.
This neighborhood is highly pedestrian-friendly and residents are very active, walking, biking, and even skating from one destination to the next. Several King County Metro Transit routes also serve this community.
The lake itself is used for swimming and non-motorized boating, and it is surrounded by more than five miles of crushed granite and asphalt trails for biking and running. Tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts can also be found here, as can an indoor swimming pool. It is a great place for an afternoon picnic. Woodland Park is situated just outside of neighborhood bounds on the south, adjacent to the Woodland Park Zoo. This is also host to the Green Lake Pitch ‘n Putt golf course and baseball field.
Nearby schools include Green Lake and Daniel Bagley elementary schools, Billings Middle, Bishop Blanchet High, and John Marshall Alternative High School. The North Seattle Community College is situated within walking distance to the north.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
Note: Based on community-supplied data and independent market research. Subject to change without notice.
