Summit Place is a neighborhood to the northeast portion of the City of El Paso. Located to the west of Fort Bliss, Summit Place is bordered by Military Heights to the south and Franklin Mountain State Park to the west. Housing in the area is mostly single family homes.
Located in the 79930 area code, Summit Place offers numerous educational choices. Elementary schools include Clendenin Elementary, Rusk Elementary, Travis Elementary, or Crockett Elementary. Middle schools include Bassett Middle, Armendariz Middle, Wiggs Middle, and Ross Middle School. Finally, High schools in the local area include Austin, Sunset, and Chapin.
Fiver emergency medical care centers lie within five miles. These hospitals are Las Palmas Medical Center, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso Specialty Hospital, University Medical Center of El Paso, and the Sierra Medical Center.

Shopping can be done at Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss, Bassett Place Mall, and Fox Plaza. Plenty of mom & pop grocery stores occupy the neighborhood as well. Museums include the El Paso Museum of History, the International Museum of Art, and the Magoffin Home.
Should travel needs arise, the El Paso International Airport sits to the east of Summit Place.
