Born in Pasadena, Texas, a suburb of Houston and home of Urban Cowboy, her four favorite things are family, friends, clients, and her puppy DeeOhGee. She has lived in the vibrant city of Austin since 1999 and is here to stay. Her parents have been married for over 60 years, and she has two brothers, one sister, 2 brothers-in-law, and 1 awesome nephew. Debbie has branded the phrase "Debbie Knows Austin" into her business mantra and can tell you extensively about the wonderful restaurants, activities, and neighborhoods throughout Austin. She has owned condominiums at Cottage Court Condos in Southwest Austin 78749, the TwentyOne24 lofts in East Austin 78702, a condominium at Public Lofts in South Austin 78745 and currently resides in a single-family home in Central East Austin in University Hills 78723, plus recently Tiermo in 78724. She is passionate about representing Buyers and Sellers, plus helps assist Landlords and Tenants in their real estate transactions. Her specialties include single-family homes, condominiums, and lofts. She loves finding and selling clients homes throughout South, Central, and East Austin as well as North and West Austin plus Pflugerville, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Georgetown, Hutto, Buda, Kyle, and Dripping Springs. Debbie previously worked for 14 years in the Music Retail business, primarily in Management. She has an extensive collection of vinyl albums, CD's, and 45's, which fill her Vintage jukebox where she can often be found dancing around her living room with DeeOhGee. She loves the Live Music Capital of the World Austin, Texas, and regularly attends the South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW), the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL), and the Moody Theater at the W Hotel for ACL Live performances and tapings. Any client of Debbie's will tell you; she loves playing adult softball and recently retired from her favorite hobby. As a founding member of the Softball Austin league in 2004, she has spent volunteer time on the Board of Directors and served many years as the Membership Coordinator. The Texas Shootout annual softball tournament has benefited local area charities such as AIDS Services Austin, Project Transitions, and Out Youth. She also organized an E. 6th St. Pub Crawl for Women's Softball for 7 years in a row, in which a portion benefitted the Texas Mamma Jamma Bike Ride for Breast Cancer. Debbie has been licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) since 2003, is a member of the Austin Board of REALTORS (ABOR), Texas Association of REALTORS (TAR), and National Association of REALTORS (NAR).
