Maplewood Neighborhood

Maplewood, located in zip code 74115, is a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Homes in the western section look out over parkland. The community is bounded by East Pine Street on the north, North Sheridan Road on the east, East Admiral Place and the Interstate 244 Freeway on the south, and North Yale Avenue on the west. The area is mostly residential, although there are a few service establishments in the community, as well as a church.

One of the many benefits of living in Maplewood is Maxwell Park, which is located in the western part of the community. This popular spot features three multi-use fields, tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground and the Maxwell Park Library.

McClure Park is another busy facility located a short distance outside of Maplewood to the north. Mil Creek runs through the center of this bustling 53.4-acre park, which has baseball diamonds, a soccer/football field, tennis courts, basketball courts, a Frisbee golf course, a 1.75-mile jogging/walking trail, a playground, picnic areas and the McClure Community Center. The center features a swimming pool and gym, and offers a wide variety of programs to the community including dance, social activities, and arts and crafts.

Students in the community appreciate the close proximity of the University of Tulsa, located just outside of Maplewood to the northwest. Founded in 1894, this private educational institution offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees.

The Tulsa International Airport lies to the east of Maplewood and serves several major carriers.
