Landfall Neighborhood

Residents of the Landfall neighborhood of Wilmington have the best of both worlds. They live in a gated community that is within proximity to the famed Wrightsville Beach. The neighborhood is also located on the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway, which affords residents ample opportunitires for recreational activities.

Golfers who reside in this North Carolina community are the envy of those living in other parts of the city. Those in the Landfall neighborhood have access to two golf courses totaling 45 holes on which to play. There are two clubhouses, as well as a large sports complex where residents can take advantage of a fitness area with all kinds of workout machines. Yoga and other fitness classes area also offered there. The complex has tennis courts and a swimming pool, along with a café that serves snacks and light meals.

Families with children have a choice of nearby schools. The Friends School is a private, non-traditional school located less than three miles from the neighborhood. Another private school is St. Mark Catholic School. The other three schools are public elementary schools and are also less than three miles from the Landfall community.

It is not hard to see why the Landfall neighborhood is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Wilmington. With its gorgeous views, tree-lined streets, and proximity to superb recreational activities, it is easily one of the best communities in the city in which to live. Eastwood Road, which runs along the outskirts of the subdivision, has numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and exclusive boutiques.
