Woodridge Neighborhood

Woodridge is a community in Greensboro. Woodridge’s neighborhoods are situated amidst Cottage Place, Lake Jeanette Drive, and a small section of Ridgedale Drive.

A large percentage of the residents are in their mid- to upper-20s, and the community is a vibrant and upwardly mobile one. In general, most of the residents have their own vehicles for transportation, although the area is served by public transit services.

For a fun-filled day of family fun and learning, visitors will enjoy the Natural Science Center of Greensboro. It has an animal discovery center where visitors can view a variety of animals, including otters, meerkats, maned wolves, and crocodiles. There is also a petting zoo, where it’s possible to observe and interact with more familiar animals. There is also a planetarium, where shows for all ages are presented numerous times each day. The museum has a gift shop that offers unique items like dinosaur replicas; microscopes; and various rocks, minerals, and crystals.

Minutes away from the downtown Greensboro area is The Village at North Inn, a 35-acre stretch of restaurants, boutiques, and offices where residents enjoy fine dining and shopping. One of the favorite local restaurants is Bruegger’s Bagels, where customers can order from a selection of bagels, made-to-order salads, and desserts. All are made using natural, and, in many cases, locally grown ingredients.

For the trendsetter who can’t find or afford the latest styles in jewelry, a visit to Indigo Bead Studio is in order. This bead studio offers customers the opportunity to create necklaces, earrings, and other pieces from an enormous selection of beads that range from the average to the unique and exotic.
