Sherwood Forest Neighborhood

Sherwood Forest has fairy-tale charm — rolling hills, winding streets, charming houses under canopies of mature trees. This east Charlotte neighborhood is located six miles southeast of downtown, north of Sardis Road and south of Sharon Amity Road. Cotwold is north of Sherwood Forest. Established in the 1950s, the charming ranch-style homes on wide lots and friendly neighbors make Sherwood Forest a desirable community.

Sherwood Forest is four miles southeast of Queens University of Charlotte and three miles northeast of Southpark Mall, a large upscale mall with exclusive boutiques and high-end anchor stores. Myers Park Golf and Country Club is three miles west of Sherwood Forest and Freedom Park (Charlotte’s oldest park) is located five miles northwest.
