Montclaire South is a neighborhood located on the southern side of Charlotte, North Carolina, near the South Carolina border. Montclaire South is a quiet, suburban neighborhood that is in a great location for most any person. One of the biggest attractions in the area is close to Montclaire South. Carowinds is an amusement park that offers many different forms of entertainment. Roller coasters and thrill rides make this the perfect place for adrenaline junkies to have a good time. The water rides at the park are perfect for the hot summer days that are frequent in the area. There is also a game area where players can win prizes. Shops and dining round things out and make the amusement park a trip that can last the whole day.

This neighborhood is perfect for people that love to golf. Some of the best country clubs in the area are close by. The Quail Hollow Country Club is home to the Wells Fargo Championship and features a golf course that has 18 holes of premier golf, set in a sculptured setting that uses the natural beauty of North Carolina to make for a perfect golfing experience. The Carmel Country Club is a prestigious club that offers a pristine golfing experience. Both of the country clubs feature similar amenities, such as tennis courts, pools, and dining facilities.

Shopping and dining are not a problem in the Montclaire South neighborhood. Various shopping centers in the area offer small amounts of shopping and dining. The best place in the area for shopping is the SouthPark Mall. The SouthPark Mall offers numerous shops coupled with a food court with many different dining options, creating a perfect shopping experience.
