Whitney Ranch Neighborhood

Whitney Ranch is a luxury home community in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. It is found in the northern region of the City of Henderson, Las Vegas’ sister city. Being in the southeastern portion of the Las Vegas Valley, it is about 20 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip and 15 minutes away from the McCarran International Airport.

Considered one of the prime residential spots in the Las Vegas Valley, this area is an ideal location for those wanting to stay in a more family-friendly neighborhood while still being easily accessible to the tourist-driven Las Vegas Strip. It is also conveniently situated near many popular restaurants and shopping, gaming, and recreational establishments mainly geared toward the local market. Residents enjoy larger homes and lots in the area, along with numerous parks and recreational spots, including the Whitney Ranch Aquatic Complex, which is just adjacent to the popular Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, a public recreation center featuring outdoor and indoor pools, water slides, a dance room, regular offerings of art and recreation activities, and child-friendly projects.

Whitney Ranch residents enjoy easy access to Boulder City and Lake Mead via Interstate 515 (I-515). It is also a few minutes away from the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, Wildhorse Golf Club, and Galleria Mall, a virtual potpourri of retail stores featuring about 130 stores from Dillard’s to the Disney Store. Popular dining establishments in the area include Santora’s Sunset Bar and Grill, Chili’s Grill and Bar, Brando’s Bistro and Bar, and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar.

Many Whitney Ranch apartments focus on the young adult and small family market. A number of luxury residential spots also offer many options for larger families and individuals wanting more lavish lifestyles. Jet-setters in the Henderson area can also take advantage of the Henderson Executive Airport, a 760-acre facility known as a corporate choice for private aviation in the area and an alternative to the busier McCarran.
