Augusta at a Glance
West Augusta Neighborhood
West Augusta is sandwiched between Interstate Highway 20, also called the Carl Sanders Highway, and the Augusta National Golf Club. This golf club has hosted the Masters Golf Tournament since 1934. This area is also home to the smaller Forest Hills Golf Course, just off Wrightsboro Road to the south. Tourism, much of it tied in with the golf industry, has enticed several hotel chains to the West Augusta area including Hilton, Clarion and Hampton Inns.
Largely residential, the area has access to several shopping malls, including National Hills Shopping Center, Washington Crossing Shopping Center and Washington Square Shopping Center. All three are located along Washington Road on the northeastern end of the neighborhood. Restaurants on Washington Road include Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and the Bonefish Grill. Various hotels, the Masters 7 Movie Complex and a nightclub called Somewhere in Augusta are on the eastern end of Washington Road. Most of the business development is located west of Interstate 20.
Housing is a mix of single-family homes, high rise apartment complexes, smaller apartment buildings, duplexes and mobile homes. The area is described as artsy, upscale and sophisticated and considered a pedestrian- and family-friendly area. Schools include the National Hills Elementary on Northwood Drive, Merry Elementary on Boy Scout Road, and Tutt Middle School, serving grades six to eight, also on Boy Scout Road. Nearby churches include the National Hills Baptist Church and the New Direction Christian Center, both on Washington Road, and the First Presbyterian Church on Ramsgate Road in the middle of the neighborhood.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
Note: Based on community-supplied data and independent market research. Subject to change without notice.
