We have two (2) nice bedrooms available in a seven-bedroom group house in the heart of Dupont Circle. Our beautiful townhouse is located on a bustling tree-lined street among embassies, art galleries and the International Student House, with the Metrorail Red Line only two short blocks in one direction, and the nightlife of the U Street corridor and Adam's Morgan easily walkable in the other direction. Most of the house has been elegantly renovated! Bedroom #1 is large, with a walk-in closet and available furnishings. It has an adjacent, renovated bathroom. Occupancy is $1740/month + shared utilities. Bedroom #2 is a large, sun-filled room with windows on two sides, two closets, walls of built-in shelving, and available furnishings. It has an adjacent, renovated bathroom that is essentially a dedicated bathroom (rarely used by anyone else). Occupancy is $1850/month + shared utilities. The shared utilities average ~$190 per person and include cable TV, WiFi, high-speed Internet, biweekly maid service, bottled water, household supplies & Washington Post. The common areas are phenomenal, the kitchen is a great place to cook or hang out, and we love the backyard patio + grills. Not to mention the whirlpool (kidding). And, because it's been a group house for so many years, we probably have every amenity + kitchen appliance imaginable. About the housemates: The house is co-ed and we strive to preserve that. We are presently 1 woman and 4 men; we keep various schedules and engage in diverse fields like a trading commission, Spanish diplomacy, development, business and technology consulting. But it's nice when we're all around, and we generally bond through good music taste, discussions of current events and the occasional kickass party.
