Outdoor recreation opportunities are a short trip away from Uptown. One can people-watch in Civic Center Park or visit the very popular and expansive 330-acre City Park. In City Park one can visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Denver Zoo, golf at the City Park Municipal Course or take out a paddle boat on Ferril Lake.
