The sunny living room has a gas and wood fireplace, vintage oak floors, and a bank of windows with plantation shutters, a coat closet, and a sliding door leading onto an covered balcony, both having lovely SE views that catch the morning light. There is an open doorway leading from the living room into the dining room, and a full kitchen with additional dinette sitting area that has floor length windows and shutters. There is a stacking washer/dryer in the Kitchen. All bedrooms and the hallways have new wall to wall carpet, all bedrooms have large closets with shelving, and plantation shutters, with an additional linen closet in the hallway. The Master bathroom has a tub and shower as well as an additional closet, and the second bathroom has a shower, no tub. The apartment has been extensively renovated while maintaining its charming old Santa Monica feel with vintage oak hardwood floors and original tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. The entrance is through a small garden walkway with one flight of stairs leading to a private upper landing. This is a Santa Monica rent-controlled apartment. Utilities/Appliances: Owner pays for water and trash, all other utilities are paid by tenants. The apartment has a central heater but no AC. The kitchen comes with a gas stove and wall oven, dishwasher and garbage disposal, washer/dryer, but no refrigerator. Garage/Parking: The apartment comes with a 9X12 garage space, suitable for a very small car or storage. There is no other assigned parking space, although you can park in the apron in front of your garage except on street cleaning day. Preferential parking permits are required by the City to park in the apron or on the street.
