Certain types of pets are not allowed, including monkeys, ferrets, snakes, rabbits, livestock, reptiles, and certain dogs. Restricted dog breeds include some Terriers such as Pit Bull, American Bull Dog, Tosa Inus, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Presa Canarios, Fila Brasileiros, Argentine Dogos, Akitas, Doberman Pinscher, Alaskan Malamute, Bull Mastiff, Wolf Hybrids, and all mixes of these breeds, or any dog over fifty pounds. A non-refundable pet charge or increased deposit and a monthly charge are required. Pets with a history of biting are not permitted. You assume full responsibility for personal injuries or property damage caused by the pet and agree to indemnify and hold the property harmless against any loss or liability resulting from having a pet on the premises. No more than two pets are allowed per unit. Pets must be restrained during maintenance service calls and are not allowed in common areas except to enter or exit the building. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the unit and are not to be tied or staked outside the apartment. Residents with balconies must not leave pets on the balcony for extended periods. Patios should be kept clean of pet waste, and pet food should not be left outside for long periods. If a tenant's dog's barking becomes a constant issue, the tenant will be asked to mitigate the disturbance or face possible eviction. A fine will be charged for not cleaning up after pets in the pet rest area on the roof.
