DMV Neighborhood

The area of San Bernardino known as DMV is located just a few blocks from Interstate 210 and can be found within the zip code of 92404 in southern Califormia. The boundaries of DMV run from Waterman Avenue West to D Street, then from Baseline North to Highland Avenue. There are more than 450 apartment communities that can be found near DMV, along with shopping, dining, and dancing. Plenty of nightlife, restaurants, and shopping lie within a few miles of the apartment complexes at DMV.

Nearby cities to DMV include Colton, Highland, Rialto, Redlands, and Fontana. The area is also within blocks of the St. Bernardine Medical Center. The small hospital began in 1931 and was started by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. Today, the hospital has grown into a 463 bed, not-for-profit health care facility with state-of-the-art equipment.

Also close to DMV is the Waterman Shopping Center, which has a shoe store, a video outlet, a convenience store, and others. Another shopping options near DMV are Waterman Discount Mall & Indoor Swapmeet.

Park and nature preserve, Perris Hill Park, is only blocks from DMV. The 65 acre park offers a baseball diamond (Fiscalini Field), tennis courts, horseshoe pits, playground areas, a senior center, a swimming pool, the Roosevelt Bowl Amphitheater, picnic tables, and barbeque grills.

Only a few short miles from DMV sit the San Bernardino Mountains. Here in the mountains are Secombe Lake and Cable Canyon Trail, both of which are open all year around and offer plenty of activities to its visitors.
