Public Elementary School
This dwelling is a professionally converted garage. Good-sized main room, full bathroom; small cooking area with two-burner range. Desk, refrigerator, clothes chest, good-sized closet area. So physically, maybe like what one might expect in a hotel situation. However—and so perhaps beyond what one expects in a hotel or similar—a well-lit private entrance, locked front gate, plenty of street parking (never a hassle), own mailbox; in a peaceful and safe part of town. Internet access. Lime tree, banana trees, persimmons, avocado tree, orange tree; all fruit bearing. Pick 'em and eat 'em. Lightly furnished, as can be seen in the photos. Close to Sony Studios and Culver (now Amazon) Studios, downtown Culver City, restaurants (Japanese, Cuban, Thai, Italian, Mexican, Brazilian, Nepalese, Argentine, mom-and-pop coffee shops) and the Ballona Creek Bike Path (a protected, off-street paved bike path that goes four miles to the beach, connecting there with the 25-miles long beach bicycle path along the Pacific Ocean). Public transportation is close by, as we're two blocks from Sepulveda Blvd and half a block from Culver Blvd. The back yard is completely enclosed, with lots of greenery. We have a small-ish doggie, two kitty-cats and two bunny rabbits, so unfortunately it's unlikely another animal would fit into the scene. This is a good situation for a student, a flight attendant (we're four miles from LAX), someone in LA for work at Sony, a 'landing pad' for someone who comes in and out of LA, or similar. - - - We're not looking for a long-term renter - it may work out to be what happens, and if so, fine. But we have a family member and a long-time friend, each of whom may move to LA. If one of them does, then we want to let them have the place while they find a permanent home. But, if that is going to happen, we'll give you six whole weeks advance notice, so you're not caught by surprise and have time to relocate. Clear? (And we ask six weeks advance notice if you decide to leave as well.) I also want to continue making the place nicer. (I want to put in some kitchen cabinetry, a hanger for pots and pans, a couple more pieces of furniture, and whatever other seems good.) What we've done in the past is do this kind of thing when the renter is away for a few days, or gone for vacation. So it's the kind of thing we'd work out, so you WON'T be intruded upon or inconvenienced! Make sense? Enough.
