Rock Creek Neighborhood

Rock Creek is a neighborhood located west of downtown Little Rock and the I-430. The boundaries of the neighborhood are Kanis Road on the south, Chenal Parkway on the west then it moves to Rahling Road, Hinson Road and finally Bowman Road and Napa Valley Drive on the east. This is a large neighborhood that has a wide variety of places to live and types of housing. The zip codes for Rock Creek are 72211 and 72205.

This neighborhood wasn’t so much created as it grew on its own. The housing here was constructed from the 1960s through the last few years. There are houses that reflect each of these periods. There are simple ranch houses, soaring transitionals and Cape Cods and colonials just to name a few. The prices range is from the low $100,000 to $400,000 depending on size, age and amenities. The finishes are all different with brick, stone, wood and vinyl siding. There are sidewalks in the neighborhood on most streets. Yards on detached homes are large and there are still many mature trees.

There is a new apartment complex on Chenal Parkway that allows people to live in this lovely neighborhood without having to purchase a home. The Landings at Rock Creek offers a rural life style very close to downtown. There are apartments with one and two bedrooms. The complex offers a swimming pool, a fitness center and fishing in the creek. They are a pet friendly with no restrictions.

Pleasant Valley Country Club is one of the premier private clubs in Arkansas. They offer 27 challenging rounds of golf, fourteen tennis courts with a full tennis program, a fitness center, swimming pool and several top notch dining options.
