Westside Development Neighborhood
Bounded by South La Cholla Boulevard, West Tucson Ajo Highway, and West Starr Pass Boulevard, the Westside Development is a neighborhood conveniently located near many Tucson amenities. While retail stores, schools, and parks are all close by, the Westside development is over all not a very walkable neighborhood.
The Westside Development features a variety of parks for both children or residents looking to enjoy a walk in the fresh air. John F. Kennedy Park off South La Cholla Boulevard offers tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, a swimming pool, and an urban fishing lake. Sentinel Peak Park, located past West Starr Pass Boulevard, is operated by Tucson’s Parks and Recreation Department. The park offers hiking trails, picnic areas, and a nice view of the giant painted ”A” on the mountain, courtesy of the University of Arizona’s student population. Santa Cruz River Park, located off North Commerce Park Loop, boasts picnic areas, trails, a disc golf course, and a water fountain.
The Old Pueblo archeology center off West 44th Street organizes educational tours to well-known archaeological and cultural sites. These year round tours are led by knowledgeable archeologists.
Schools in the area include Oyama Elementary School off South La Cholla Boulevard, Cholla High Magnet School off West Starr Pass Boulevard, Tucson Unified School District 1 Ajo off West 44th Street, and Pueblo Magnet High School off South 12th Avenue.
Westside Development is home to about 3,627 residents, about 0.7 percent of Tucson’s total population.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
