“Walden” is a breathtaking area located on its own peninsula on Lake Conroe. Officially named Walden on Lake Conroe, the area is part of the 77356 zip code just north of bustling Houston, Texas. The neighborhood is a part of the northeast side of Montgomery, through which Highway 105 runs and eventually intersects with Interstate-45 in the east.
Walden on Lake Conroe is a beautiful, affluent community that many tourists flock to for weddings, retreats, or simply vacations. Walden is constantly being renovated, and it is almost always under construction due to its status as a relative newcomer to the communities of Lake Conroe. Even though it features sites that aren’t fully complete, that doesn’t detract from the natural scenery surrounding the beautiful neighborhood. The peninsula of Lake Conroe is home to the Yacht Club of Walden, the center of socialization for the neighborhood. Aside from lake activities, there is the Ladies’ Association of Walden, and to the delight of the area’s tennis players and fans, the Walden Tennis Association. There are also frequent fitness classes.
