The Twin Oaks neighborhood is located in Kemah, Texas, in Galveston County. The zip code is 77565. Twin Oaks is a only 25 minutes south of Houston and 25 minutes north of Galveston Bay. It is a small community bordered on the south by Farm to Market Road 2094, and by Clear Lake on the north. One of the most popular rides is a 140-passenger speedboat called the “Boardwalk Beast.” The Beast is an open-deck speedboat that takes passengers out into Galveston Bay for a wet and wild ride. The boardwalk offers community events all year. Holidays always find something happening at Kemah Boardwalk. Each weekend, enjoy live musical entertainment ranging from classic oldies rock ‘n roll to steel drum bands. The Kemah Lighthouse Shopping District, only steps away from the waterfront, offers antiques, collectibles, fine art, home décor, gifts, clothing, and more.

A main Houston attraction close to Twin Oaks and Kemah must be mentioned — the Space Center Houston, visitor center for NASA’s Johnson Space Center. It is one of the most popular destinations in Houston. Here you will find plenty of exhibits and activities to intrigue and fascinate both children and adults; you might even see some astronauts in training. The Space Center Houston is also home to the largest IMAX in Texas.
