College Houses Cooperatives – A One-of-a-Kind Experience Since 1964!
What is a Co-op?
A housing co-op is a residence that the tenants manage collectively. Resident members take part in weekly chores and maintenance, which helps keep rent affordable. Members also have a vote in determining house policies.
Why Live in a Co-op?
-Co-ops are known as tight-knit communities where everyone knows their neighbors. Even though we are currently social distancing, the friendly culture is still a great aspect of co-op living.
-Our members have a wide variety of interests, including being civically engaged. This is a great place to get more involved in your community!
-Choosing a co-op can save hundreds per month compared to other central Austin apartments.
-We're member-controlled, so residents get to vote on how their house operates. Our model is designed to put you, the resident, first!
*College Houses offers equal housing opportunities regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability.
