Schiller Farm is an intentional community of 7 apartments in close in SE PDX on a large, park-like expanse with extensive, farm and garden activity by the interested residents.
The Farm has large open grassy areas including the garden spaces, a firepit, picnic tables, fruit trees, berries, and chickens. There is a spacious private off street parking area, EV charger, and a remote work space for additional rent (the trailer-office “troffice” or “Trudio” depending upon your use) It’s for those that want to work from home but not in their home. Other amenities are a common area coin-op laundry, private storage closets for some apartments, and a private covered bike rack.
The residents form a cooperative community where they can connect in the outdoor areas and associated activities. There are sometimes potlucks, camp fires, and lots of friendly and helpful neighbor moments.
The apartments are one-level, mid-century ranch style with an efficient layout ranging from about 525 to 600 square feet. Wood, cork, and linoleum floors along and wood cabinets and trims make a warm environment.
Rent is single occupancy, a second occupant adds $100.
Fixed pets will be considered pending manager interview and increased rent.
