Quail Creek Neighborhood

One of the city’s most established and desirable neighborhoods, Quail Creek in the northwest quadrant of Oklahoma City revolves around its centerpiece amenity, the Quail Creek Golf and Country Club. Spanning more than two square miles, the neighborhood consists of more than 1,700 homes. They range in price from $60,000 to more than $800,000. The average home price in Quail Creek is around $265,000.

Most of the residences in Quail Creek were built in the 1960s through the 1980s. Mature tree growth; well-kept yards; and spacious, brick homes dominate the neighborhood.

The Quail Creek Homeowners Association is the largest homeowners association in Oklahoma City. Among the many events it stages for community involvement are a Fourth of July parade, an art show and auction, a park and tree-planting party, and and a concert in the park.

Golf is a favorite pastime for residents, and they don’t have to travel far to play at the Quail Creek Golf and Country Club. The club features an 18-hole championship layout that has hosted the Oklahoma City Open from 1962 to 1968, as well as two prestigious professional events, the Bob Hope Silver Pages Classic and the Southwestern Bell Golf Classic, in the 1980s.

Quail Creek residents also enjoy quick access to Lake Hefner, a man-made lake with opportunities for boating, sailing, and fishing.
