One of the most exclusive areas of the city, Northwest Oklahoma City is home to some of the town’s wealthiest residents. Northwest Oklahoma City is also home to some of the best golf courses in the city. Courses like the Lake Hefner Golf Club, Gaillardia Country Club, and the Quail Creek Country Club appeal to serious golfers who also want private, country club amenities. More casual golfers can try out one of the public courses in the area, such as the Rosecreek Golf Course.
Residents who enjoy aviation can take advantage of one of two smaller airports in the area. Both Wiley Post Airport and Sundance Airpark cater to people who want to fly their smaller, light aircraft. More traditional modes of transportation are also available in Northwest Oklahoma City, as several freeways offer easy access to the rest of the city.
