The Cross Creek neighborhood is a community in Franklin County, Ohio. Individuals who wish to visit the resources this community offers can access it through several venues. Two of these resources involve Interstates 70 and 270. Three other access routes are County Highway 29, County Road 10, and Veterans Memorial Drive. Cross Creek families have access to seven elementary schools.
Shopping resources are provided by the Market at Mill Run Shopping Center. It is a 146,173-square-foot facility with space for 28 tenants and is located 12 miles northwest of Columbus. Part of the center includes food and movie facilities. The area called Mill Run has features such as ponds, walking paths, and an outdoor amphitheater.
Prairie Oaks Metro Park is a resource that has a walking trail. Within the park is Sycamore Plains Trail, which offers a trek along Big Darby Creek running through the park along with Big Darby State and National Scenic River.
The Griggs Reservoir is adjacent to the Cross Creek neighborhood. This resource provides opportunities for water sports, boating, disc golf courses, and a nature preserve. Parking capacity includes 400 preferred spaces plus 300 additional spaces. Activities of the reservoir that residents of this Cross Creek community and others can attend include a number of water sporting events. Among these are the Jack Speakman Regatta and the Governor’s Cup, Mid-America Collegiate Rowing Championships, and the Ohio High School Rowing Championships.
