Detroit-Shoreway Neighborhood

As the city of Cleveland reinvents itself, there’s so much activity and positive spirit. Nowhere will visitors find that spirit expressed as vividly as in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood, one of Cleveland’s coolest, most diverse communities along the north coast.

With new residents moving in, new businesses and theatres opening and a rush of renovation of its historic buildings, this neighborhood is quickly becoming “the” place to live, work and play. Residents boast that Detroit Shoreway is the premier lakefront neighborhood in northeast Ohio, offering easy access to Lake Erie, downtown Cleveland and the emerging Gordon Square Arts District; affordable housing rich in architectural style; and a wide array of amenities such as transportation options and excellent private schools.

In the winter, the park is transformed into a great place to sled, ice fish and cross-country ski.
