The Westwood Village neighborhood of Wilson, North Carolina is a mix of residential and business sections. Raleigh Road Parkway West, Highway 264, creates the northern boundary for the neighborhood. Forest Hills Drive West is the western border. Westwood Park is along the southern border making recreation easily accessible for residents. The neighborhood is included in the 27893 zip code.

The residential portion of Westwood Village includes Village Drive West and Woodcroft Drive West. Both of these roads end in cul-de-sacs, providing residents privacy from business traffic. The area employs the use of green spaces and mature trees to create a division of the business sections from homes in the community.

Westwood Village residents are within walking distance of many stores and restaurants, including a Wal-Mart Supercenter, Lowes Home Improvement, Golden Corral Buffet, and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill. A large shopping area is just on the western portion of the neighborhood and a grocery store is conveniently located on Madison Drive on the south. The Wilson Medical Center Hospital is also just to the south on Tarboro Street West.

Wiggins Mill Reservoir is to the south at the intersection of Forest Hills Road Southwest and Downing Road. Barton College is three miles northeast. The Wedgewood Country Club is southeast of the community. The City of Wilson provides public transportation and is located just north of the junction of Interstate 795 and Highway 264. Interstate 795 meets Interstate 95 five miles west of Westwood Village, providing residents many choices for commuting routes.
