Glenwood Towers is a Raleigh Housing Authority public housing apartment complex. Applicants must go through the public housing application process and will be offered the first available public housing unit of the appropriate size. Applicants can express a preference but cannot apply for Glenwood Towers only. DO NOT CALL OR VISIT GLENWOOD TOWERS DIRECTLY for application or vacancy information. Units are very rarely available for prospective residents to view. Residents must be 50 or older. (Federal preference is given to applicants age 62 and older). This is a high-rise building with 286 efficiency and one-bedroom apartments. All utilities, appliances, and air conditioning are included in monthly rent. Has an indoor cardiovascular fitness room. Rent is 30% of adjusted income. Intake Process: Call Raleigh Housing Authority and complete public housing pre-application to be placed on wait list.
