Glenwood Neighborhood

Glenwood is a neighborhood in transition, located south of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Greensboro College. It is east of the Greensboro Coliseum, the largest single-seat arena in the country. The coliseum hosts trade shows, conferences, concerts, fine arts shows, sporting events, and the Central Carolina Fair (an annual event for more than 112 years).

As one of Greensboro’s neighborhood revitalization areas, Glenwood is undergoing a transformation. This diverse neighborhood is convenient to downtown, just a mile southwest of the metro area. With plenty of mass transit and walkable areas, Glenwood is an up-and-coming neighborhood with a lot to offer new residents.
