North Sharon Amity stretches along North Sharon Amity Road in Charlotte. Central Avenue serves as the northern border of the neighborhood, while Andrew Jackson Highway serves as the southern border of North Sharon Amity. The community is bordered to the east by Albemarie Road and to the west by Norland Road.
The Evergreen Cemetery is located within the community along Norland Road. Its grounds are well-kept and pristine, and walkers in the community can respectfully walk the grounds. Sharon Memorial Park, another highly regarded cemetery, is only a little over a mile southwest of North Sharon Amity.
The Amity Gardens Shopping Center, a 14,000 square-foot mall, is just south of the North Sharon Amity neighborhood and within walking distance of the community. The mal features a wide variety of antique stores, shops and sellers. The Eastland Mall is also within walking distance of the neighborhood and provides more mainstream stores for residents. A Wal-Mart sits within walking distance, to the northwest of the community.
Although many of the North Sharon Amity residents rely on their own sprawling lawns, gardens and yards for nature and recreation, there are also several parks that are only about a mile from the neighborhood. East Park is only about a mile south of North Sharon Amity, while Kilborne Park is only a little over a mile to the northwest. The Charlotte Country Club, which offers golf courses and tennis courts, is to the northwest of North Sharon Amity.
