Middlesex County, New Jersey
Middlesex County was founded in 1675. It is an attractive county in central New Jersey with dozens of historic sites. Among them is the Ayers-Allen House, built in 1740 as the Allen House Tavern. The Buccheuch Mansion, built in 1739, is a beautiful house located along the Raritan River. Rutgers Preparatory School was established in 1766, making it one of the oldest prep schools in the US.
Two major universities are located in Middlesex County: Rutgers University and Princeton University’s Forrestal campus. Rutgers is one of only nine Colonial Colleges, meaning it was founded before the American Revolution. It was built in 1766 as Queen’s College. It is one of only two of the Colonial colleges that became public universities.
Princeton is one of the eight Ivy League universities as well as a Colonial College. Established in 1746 as the College of New Jersey, the campus was originally located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. It was moved to Princeton in 1756. The James Forrestal Campus, located in Plainsboro, is less than three miles from the main campus, located across Carnegie Lake.
Middlesex County features more than 20 parks and conservation areas. It contains many popular New Jersey cities, including East Brunswick, Middlesex, New Brunswick, and South Brunswick.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
Note: Based on community-supplied data and independent market research. Subject to change without notice.
